I found this course interesting and easy to follow. I completed level 3 and this was the next step. Tutor very helpful if you have any problems or need help in understanding anything.

This course is a natural step up for those that have completed any Fetac level 3 computer course. There are 5 different modules, so the course is varied. A good course to find out which are your strong fields if you are thinking of going on to the next level.
Tutor very helpful.

I have just completed the Information Technology - FETAC level 4.
I really enjoyed doing the course and am delighted with all the information and skills I have learned.
A Big Thank You - to the Tutor - John Leahy, who is extremely patient and good humoured.
He created a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere, which really contributed to having a nice team - we all helped each other, shared our knowledge and what we weren't sure about - John was always at hand to explain, show how to do the tasks and go through individually when required.
Although previously computer literate and a comfortable user of IT - I definitely learned new things, refreshed and upgraded my knowledge and learned new way of doing the tasks+ the correct terminology! it was really nice to use the New version of MSWord 2010 etc.
The facilities at CDP are very nice, clean warm, modern and very comfortable. Always very enjoyable tea breaks with everything provided. Special thanks to Ger who is always willing to help and offer support. Also thanks for Sonya and Trish. Very grateful I was able to use the computer room outside of class when available to help me practice on the new version of the Software (I haven't got at home).
Thanks again and would strongly recommend this course to anyone who is interested. :-)

It is a lovely experience learning under John he makes the most difficult easy to understand. He comes down to your level to explain any part one find difficult.

The Information Technology is a very good course thanks John i benefited a lot from it.

Information Technology is a course that anyone that likes technology needs to have an ideal of, and with John as a teacher every part of it was so easy to understand

I found the Fetac Level 4 Course to be very good. I learned such a lot - but towards the end I found File Management to be a challenge. I had never done a Computer Course prior to this & it was a mistake entering Level 4. as my first course. I hope to do a Level 3 course in September 2013. Our tutor John Leahy was an excellent teacher - most pleasant and approachable.

personal i have leant a lot on internet and e-mail.All the topics were of importance to me.The way John explains makes things easier.i enjoyed mail management most.If i have a chance to repeat the course i wil.

I found the course (Fetac 3) most interesting, enlightening and informative. John is a born teacher, he explains everything in detail and ensures everyone understands before moving on to the next topic. I give him full marks.

I completed level 3 and found it very helpful and interesting.
John our tutor was extremely helpful, plesant and well able to get his information across to me. i wish he was a teacher in school , i would have learned so much from him. i plan to progress to next level in sept with tutor John. CPd is a lovely enviorment.Looking foreward to next class.Tralee

I Found this course to be very interesting and informative. The exams were a little bit difficult. There was the interaction with fellow participants and the tutor at tea break, that I enjoyed as well. It is a progression from Info-tech level three, hopefully.

I just completed course on Information Technology Skills. I found it to be very informative and Tutor John was exceptionally helpful. His encouragement and patience will encourage me to continue with other courses.
I will now be able to use my computer more confidently at home.

I just completed this Fetec Level 4 course. It was very enjoyable. John is a very patient, organised and encouraging tutor. His good humour makes the class enjoyable. My classmates were very good company. The course content is well planned and I learned very useful skills that have given me confidence with using the computer.

John is an excellent tutor, and helped make this course a very good experience. He is patient, very helpful and has the ability to make difficult aspects of the course easy to understand. He encouraged the group to help one another which led to a very relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. I am looking forward to working with him again.
